Job Description

As a Project Engineer you will be a part of the Robotics and Motion Division and Business Unit Drives and Controls based in Cairo, Egypt. You will be responsibility of driving project management and execution activities related to Service orders in line with contractual commitments and customer expectations.Your main responsibilities in this role will include: Ownership of project management and orders delivery activities in terms of planning, scheduling, cost, scope, ordering and customer satisfaction in coordination with operations and service managers.Following rigorously with zero tolerance ABB HSE recommendations and safety measure with zero tolerance.Taking necessary measures to ensure performance is up to ABB quality standards across the project and order lifecycle.Providing internal and external customer support such as but not limited to order assistance, payment-related assistance and coordinate with relevant resources to have complete case ownership and to increase customer satisfaction.Ensuring the resolution of customer issues (e.g. order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams.Coordinating resolution with Service Sales and/or Service Teams.Proactively informing customers about issue status based on inputs and clarifies any questions. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the entire process.Preparing and analyzing regular statistics (e.g. forecast) using available tools and collecting relevant information.Tracking regular target performance and provides results to management.Developing, implementing, and maintaining customer support processes and participating in customer support related development projects (e.g. tools, competences, resources)Establishing regular reports and statistics of the customer support process and reviewing and analyzing performance against standards and preparing improvement plans.Standardizing customer interface during orders/projects execution lifecycle.Significantly contributing to the Service business and LBU Growth Plans and Sales Strategy via best in class execution.Delivery planning, Invoicing and Revenue Recognition to meet customer expectations for deliverables also delivering the scope of work on time, on cost and on qualityEfficient Cash recovery and Shortest Cash Conversion Cycle thru Flawless execution.Improving Orders GM% and NM% with at least 2-3 %.Planning, preparing, arranging and attending Internal and External Hand over Meetings.Issuing PRs on time and follow up POs placement to suppliers on time and on cost.Coordinating with Feeder Factories for deliveries, technical alignment and resolving any issues in line with contractual commitment and customer expectations.Keeping the LPG sales teams & customers updated with progress of the project along with needed technical support.Working closely with sales team to annually asses their needs to achieve targets and significantly contribute to deliver RELEX TargetsAchieving cost saving of at least 3 % every year.Supporting Projects and Service operations to deliver Revenue ambition as budgeted / targeted. As the ideal candidate, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering with 2-3 years’ work experience in order handling, project management, and customer service. Candidate should have experience in cost control with a background in Finance and Commerce. PMP certification is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of project management software, such as MS projects, along with proficiency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.
