POSITION PURPOSE:

The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and implementing all marketing automation campaigns across [insert region]. The Marketing Automation Manager would be required to empower all business lines to build, grow and convert customer relationships through automated marketing and lead nurturing campaigns based on lead scoring at different stages of the customer lifecycle via transactional messaging.


KEY RESPONSIBILITY:


  • Plan, develop, and execute interactions across the customer lifecycle that drive engagement and conversion
  • Develop marketing automation campaigns across email, SMS and social to improve efficiency
  • Understand our customers and segment audiences and optimise campaigns to increase effectiveness
  • Develop optimized content and messaging, e-mail / campaign templates & editing (HTML), asset tagging & loading in line with the brand guidelines
  • Conduct ongoing A/B testing related to subject lines, e-mail copy, layouts and CTAs that drives conversion improvements
  • Meticulously plan and document the testing plan
  • Oversee and implement all lead scoring/grading processes and customer nurturing (single or multi touch) campaigns within the automation tool
  • Ensure cross-browser/e-mail compatibility through testing and software tools
  • Build testing frameworks (split testing, deliverability and tracking) for continuous optimization of click-through and conversion rates
  • Share improvements in campaigns through adaptive learning from past campaign experiences
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define best suited workflows for nurturing / automation campaigns and ensure relevant and targeted communications reach our core audience
  • Analyse potential gaps and opportunities in the sales funnel and create automated campaigns that improve conversion at that point
  • Proactively analyse our customer journey and stay on top of trends to identify and design the most effective ways for marketing automation
  • Ensure campaigns for the contact centre are maintained and optimised to prioritise the right leads to tele-callers
  • Think “out of the box” to identify new and innovative ideas to drive efficiencies in lead nurturing campaigns
  • Create online content aligned to influence various customer personas as part of the marketing strategy
  • Develop and provide periodic metrics and trends aligned to marketing automation in line with business objectives
  • Monthly reporting to key stakeholders for standard KPI of marketing automation campaigns
  • Create reporting dashboards for stakeholders to analyse campaign performance
  • Lead, develop and maintain a high performing team that will deliver our client’s key marketing objectives
  • Set performance targets for key performance indicators for team ensuring all delegations are clear
  • Contribute to building a positive work environment within the team based on a shared commitment to our client’s values and quality
  • Regularly meet with country teams to discuss results and push forward best practice
  • Contribute to and be an active member of our client’s community of best practice for Marketing Automation teams
  • Leverage successful Marketing Automation ideas / initiatives from across countries and share that within our client’s Marketing Automation Community
  • Act as one POC for all country lead nurturing campaign requirements
  • Manage budget and resource allocations effectively to deliver business priorities
  • Exercise appropriate stewardship over our client assets and intellectual property
  • Expenditure is in line with agreed budget and business priorities
  • Undertake any other lawful duties as reasonably directed by management



PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Educated to Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience in digital marketing / marketing automation
  • Creative thinker with ability to define and develop campaigns and templates for e-mail marketing / reports
  • Experience in building lead nurture campaigns and driving successful marketing outcomes / lead conversions
  • Highly effective relationship building and relationship management skills
  • Analytical mind – ability to read, analyse and interpret information effectively
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills across all key methods – oral & written
  • Knowledge of MS office (excel, PowerPoint) to populate different marketing automation related reports
  • Experience in working in dynamic global environment
