Position: Senior Procurement Engineer (Electrical, Civil, or Architecture)

Location: Giza, Egypt (On-site)

Job Type: Full-time

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Evaluation & RFQ Management:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of suppliers to ensure they meet the required standards. Manage the entire RFQ process, ensuring that requests are clear, complete, and provide competitive pricing.
  • Purchase Order Management:
  • Oversee the creation, tracking, and execution of purchase orders, ensuring that all details are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
  • Cost Analysis & Competitive Pricing:
  • Perform detailed cost analyses to ensure competitive pricing and identify areas for cost reduction without compromising quality.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams (such as project managers, engineers, and finance) and external vendors to ensure timely and effective procurement processes.
  • Vendor Relations:
  • Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating terms and resolving issues when they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Architecture), Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in procurement, particularly within the construction industry, is highly advantageous.
  • Skills:
  • Strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and RFQ Management
  • Solid understanding of Purchase Order Management
  • Analytical skills for cost analysis and pricing comparison
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams
