The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer/Architect to lead the conceptualization and development of interior designs for our prestigious projects. You will work closely with integrated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for governmental, administrative spaces and residential, translating client visions into compelling designs.
Create comprehensive design packages, including mood boards, space planning, furniture layouts, material selections, and color schemes.
Develop and maintain project-specific material and FF&E libraries and schedules.
Produce high-quality 3D visualizations and renderings using tools like SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray.
Prepare detailed design development (DD) packages and support the development of construction drawing (CD) sets using AutoCAD and increasingly, Revit.
Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
Collaborate closely with MEP and Technical Office to ensure coordinated and feasible designs.
Ensure designs adhere to project requirements, budgets, timelines, Kathb's quality standards.
Present design concepts and documentation clearly.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in commercial, administrative, governmental and residential fit-out projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or 3ds Max, and rendering software (V-Ray or similar).
Proven experience using Revit Architecture is essential.
Strong understanding of materials, finishes, construction methods, and FF&E specification.
Awareness of relevant building codes and accessibility standards pertaining to interior spaces.
Excellent creative, conceptual, and spatial reasoning skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Revit Architecture.
Experience developing full FF&E packages.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
