Job Description
Responsible for managing the Subsea Inspection Contract performing all inspection activities as per the Subsea Inspection WSoE.
Responsible for Subsea Inspection Asset Register.
Responsible for ensuring that the Baseline Survey for future developments is performed in accordance with Company procedures.
Responsible for reviewing the Subsea Inspection WSoE on yearly basis and execution of RBI program
Responsible for liaising with the Idku Planning Department, to ensure that the Inspection Plan is on GMS (Rashpetco CMMS) and that the plan is regularly updated based on the progress made.
Enable the Company to hold a log of historical data on all the inspection activities performed to contribute to crucial operational & investment decisions to reach operational excellence.
Responsible for Subsea Maintenance Build process for current and future infrastructure.
This position is primarily based at the Rashpetco/Burullus JV Cairo offices with frequent trips offshore and to Maadia/Abu Qir Base and occasional visits to Idku gas processing facility close to Alexandria, Egypt.
Promote by example the Rashpetco/Burullus/Shell/Subsea Operations Team HSE commitment
Prepare, Develop and maintain Subsea Inspection Anomalies Acceptance Criteria register
Recruit/Request JV/Shell graduate engineer to coach and develop
Build, develop and maintain an inspection/maintenance organization within the SOT, with clearly identified and sustainable systems and processes
Perform the inspection activities as per the Written Scheme of Examination (WSoE) utilising the Company’s Intervention Support Vessel & the vessel’s Working Class ROV in accordance with relevant codes/standards such as the DNV codes.
Analyze the Inspection results generated utilizing the appropriate resources (3.4.u inspector(s) and Independent Verification Body (IVB) against the pre-set anomaly criteria, identifying the need for a Physical Mitigation.
Liaise with RPC Planning Department to reflect the inspection progress, results on RPC CMMS (GMS) & update the findings of the inspection activities performed in both the data management system such as GIS, enabling the Company to build a log of all inspection activities performed and their history.
Prepare, develop & maintain a comprehensive risk register which identifies integrity hazards and for each hazard lists the measures in place to prevent, detect, control and mitigate potential accidents, which is to be flagged to RPC management.
Prepare, develop and maintain an anomaly register which identifies all deviations from the design codes and standards identified during inspections.
Prepare, develop and maintain an action tracking register that lists all actions to manage the subsea infrastructure integrity, including the action party, the details of the action required, the present status, the date the action was raised and the due date for closure.
Requirements
Experience working within operating assets particularly with topsides and subsea production and controls systems, preferably with multiple package providers
Ability to develop and implement best practice systems to support safe and efficient operation of subsea system
Specific inspection planning and execution experience utilizing a computerized maintenance management system
Experience in managing field support engineers / technicians to delivering a pre-defined work scope in a pre-set timeframe
Preferred engineering graduate in relevant discipline – Mechanical
Professional qualification (Chartered Engineer) is desirable
Knowledge of gas industry and gas chains desirable
Knowledge of Arabic preferable
Fluent written and spoken English is essential
Strong demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to perform with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills with experience influencing multi discipline multi-cultural teams
Strong Written and verbal communication
Excellent interpersonal skills in a cross cultural environment and ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
Self-motivated, Patience and self-control
Flexible thinking to develop ideas & technical solutions
Determination to deliver.
