Core VAS Service Analyst
Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: To manage and execute the traditional SMS alerts (Etisalat News & Islamic platforms), work and support in its digital transformation to compete with the big OTT players in the news & Islamic market. In his/her new role, he/she will be responsible for: - Effectively Managing Partnership with vendors covering Traditional sms alerts (Etisalat News and Islamic platforms) E2E. - Handle and manage services content ensuring the flexibility to accommodate for both direction, traditional and digital. - Manage and execute E2E product development from acquisition, proposition creation, as well as customer engagement along his life cycle to maximize the revenue per customer. - Study the local and global practices in order to ensure coping with market trends.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: To manage and execute the traditional SMS alerts (Etisalat News & Islamic platforms), work and support in its digital transformation to compete with the big OTT players in the news & Islamic market. In his/her new role, he/she will be responsible for:
- Effectively Managing Partnership with vendors covering Traditional sms alerts (Etisalat News and Islamic platforms) E2E.
- Handle and manage services content ensuring the flexibility to accommodate for both direction, of traditional and digital.
- Manage and execute E2E product development from acquisition, proposition creation, as well as customer engagement along his life cycle to maximize the revenue per customer.
- Study the local and global practices in order to ensure coping with market trends.
Partnership Development
- E2E partnership management with all alerts, news & Islamic content providers in terms of Development, Retention & Contract Renewals.
- Assist in agreements with celebrities to enrich content portfolio and create differentiation and exclusivity strategy in the market.
- Periodic research and recommendations for potential key content aggregators, celebrities & presenters & content/influencers providers.
- Being part of Deciding on relevant new business models to enhance revenue KPIs and service perception to insure win-win situation between partner and Etisalat to insure profitability. Content strategy
- Being part of Setting a strategy and plan to digitize the alerts, news & Islamic content portfolio & orchestrating the integration & collaboration with key digital content partners.
- Execute and assist in the plan and road map to Create unique and exclusive content on both traditional and digital channels to maximize the customer engagement.
- Manage new gamification services propositions to maximize the customer engagement.
- Execute interactive content/shows to maximize the engagement and increase the viewership on the platforms.
- Manage Etisalat news platform "traditional & digital fronts" to compete with the big OTT players in the market.
Marketing Product Development
- Mange and implement the alerts, news & Islamic Products Yearly calendar (along with periodic maintenance and updates) to achieve the content yearly budget & secure proper portfolio base penetration.
- Execute the communication plan & event calendar of the three platforms to build an effective alert, news & Islamic brand for both traditional and newly digital platform.
- Prepare and execute E2E exclusive Celebrity Platforms in line with Etisalat Corporate Brand Strategy
- Set and implement a plan to Increase revenue from digital through on going promotions, enhance communication and base development activities
- Execute road map for Developing ATL & BTL campaigns and activations for all sports services.
- Set a segmented product plan to tap on customers need and secure service journey.
- Manage activating Etisalat news programs and shows.
- Managing the design and implementation of platforms annual on-ground activations.
- Prepare and launch promotions and propositions that would increase revenue, enhance customer experience & penetration to enhance Etisalat image in the market.
Reporting and operations handling:
- Report the Alerts usage and revenue, and ensuring stable usage and maximization of revenues through promotions, bundles, customer education and communication.
- Prepare and develop with insight and big data teams the necessary analytic models, dashboards and reports for profiling the services subscribers and ensure predictive and descriptive revenue and usage trend.
- Manage and follow guidelines and performance indicators to identify services progress.
- Financial projections based on internal and external market factors and target control.
- Handle all collection and operations across all product line and services.
Qualifications Essential
Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and International Business
Minimum 4 years' experience in marketing Telecommunication/digital.
Excellent Negotiation, Communication & Persuasive Skills
Excellent in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral).
Highly Innovative
Very good knowledge in MS Excel, and MS Power Point.
