Jobs and Opportunities at Egyptian Tax Authority in 2021

The Egyptian Tax Authority at the Ministry of Finance announced its need to contract with (416) “examination tax officers - inventory tax officer”, in addition to (37) electronic inventory and examination tax officers to work in the authority, in accordance with the provision of Article 15 of Law No. (85) for the year 2020 to link the state’s general budget for the fiscal year 2020/2021

The following are the details that must be available to apply for the required positions:

First: Conditions for applying:

1. The applicant must have Egyptian nationality.

2. The applicant must be medically fit.

3. The applicant must be a permanent resident in the governorate he is applying to, and that it is proven as his place of residence by the national ID card on the date of this announcement.

4. The applicant's age should not be more than 27 Gregorian years on the date of this announcement.

5. For the position of tax inspector - inventory tax officer: The applicant must have a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Division) with a general grade of at least very good.

6. For the position of an electronic inventory and examination tax officer: The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, statistics, computer science, or information systems with a general grade of at least good.

Second: The documents required for submission:

1. A copy of the national ID card (both sides of the card), to be valid on the date of the advertisement.

2. A copy of the mechanized birth certificate.

3. A copy of the academic qualification certificate.

4. A copy of a certificate showing the position of conscription to perform military service, or a copy of the 110 Soldiers Form, for male applicants.

5. A copy of the criminal record, to be valid.

6. A recent (photo) photograph.

Third: Eligibility Conditions:

• To be considered for contracting, the applicants who meet the application requirements and who complete the documents required for electronic assessment tests must pass at least 75% in the areas of:

1. For the job of an examination tax officer - inventory tax officer: (Accounting in general with a focus on tax accounting - tax laws - computer - basic personal skills - English language).

2. For the job of an electronic inventory and examination tax officer: data analysis, data modeling, database design, data examination and analysis, reporting and database systems, programming systems, statistical analysis methods for data and databases, artificial intelligence (the questions in the previous fields are in English) In addition to basic personal skills.

• Note that a personal interview will be held with the applicants who have passed the electronic assessment tests only, and the originals of the required documents mentioned in (Second Clause), or other documents will be requested if necessary, in addition to that a medical examination will be conducted for the applicants nominated for contracting with them.
