Job Description
Job purpose:
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling electronic and Home appliances and driving the consumer electronics sales strategy for South Africa, including developing and managing new independent, Furniture, and retail accounts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in Implementing Marketing strategy.
- Develop and maintain sales strategy and implement with sales channels within the Republic.
- Work toward the objectives of achieving the targeted sales volume.
- Identify the appropriate balance in sales between channels to ensure the correct sales contribution by channel
- Manage and monitor the sales operations
- Develop and drive continuous product demand and ensure product display quality.
- Working closely with the accounts to enhance the sell-out of the products.
- Monitor and drive product demand, stock level, competitor’s promotion, retail display quality
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business.
- 5 to 6 years of experience in retailer/distributor management within a consumer electronics environment.
- Previous experience in sales within the consumer electronics industry (Mandatory).
- Extensive sales thinking, demonstrable sales focus, pro-active and proven sales track record.
- Self-starter being able to work under minimum supervision.
- Excellent quantitative aptitude, commercial acumen, strong persuasion skills, assertive nature.
- Has previous experience in handling Sales accounts.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
