The Role
As a fundamental member of the Legal Team, you will play a significant role in contributing to the growth and success of Vezeeta. This is a position that will see you gain experience and skills in a wide range of areas as well as work at the forefront of the health-tech industry.
Responsibilities
- Consult and handle all corporate legal processes with GAFI.
- Identifying and addressing potential legal issues and risks for current activities.
- Develop company policy and position on the legal issue.
- Draft and review agreements, contracts, NDA’s and other legal documents to ensure that Vezeeta’s interests are maintained.
- Research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks.
- Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
- Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents.
- Represent Vezeeta in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials etc.)
- Working closely with several teams internally and leveraging external law firms across the globe.
- Monitor legal trends and legislative changes concerning the industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law is a must.
- 2-3 Years of experience working for a reputable law firm or as an in-house counsel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Experience in contract, corporate and commercial laws is mandatory.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills; attention to detail is a must.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to deadlines.
- Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
- Experience with working with foreign jurisdictions.
- Computer Skills.
- Current License to practice law.
