Job description:

– Prepare Structural analysis and detailed design calculation for reinforced concrete and structural steel works
– Understand the project scope of work, specifications

. – Personally verify the corrections and absolute accuracy of own and others work prior to review by the Head of Department .

– Organize own and others work to achieve set deadlines.

– Lead pro-active coordination with internal and external design disciplines to achieve a high quality, consistent set of design documents or presentation.

– Proactively check and coordinate project documents (including but not limited to multi-disciplinary drawings, design reports, design calculations, technical specifications, bills of quantities, etc.) and ensure the highest quality standards are met.

– Extensive project experience ( Gulf project experience is a plus) , Flexibility of attitude towards company objectives.

– Full and extensive Knowledge of local and international standards, codes and procedures and specs .

– Excellent command of English (written and spoken)

– Proficiency in Structural design softwares ( ETABS , STAAD Pro .. ) as well as AutoCAD , REVIT, word processing and presentation programs.

– Education Degree and or Masters in Structural Engineering ( The achievement of a Professional registration of an internationally recognised institution i.e IStructE is highly desirable and a distinct advantage .
