Main Responsibilities: -
• Manage the Bank ALM standards including assessing Earnings at Risk, Re-pricing & Liquidity
Gaps risks and ensure viable reporting to ALCO.
respond positively and diligently to colleague’s requests and contribute to bank strategy.
• Review ALM weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reports (Liquidity GAPs, Liquidity Ratio Analysis,
Interest Rate GAPs etc..).
• Participate in the market risk capital requirements\calculations process under current
regulatory frame.
• Review & Assist in the Design\Build-up of new ALM Models.
• Review procedures and documentations related to the assumptions of Risk Models.
• Identify and report any limit breach to Head of Market Risk & ALM.
• Assist the Head of Market & ALM Risk to ensure that all significant ALM Risk is effectively
identified, measured and controlled to successfully achieve the department objectives.
• Work closely with business units so that they understand the rationale of all Market & ALM risk
proposals.
• Implement approved policies, processes and procedures and ensure adherence
so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
• Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, and compliance regulations.
• Prepare and analyze Market Risk reports required for ALCO & Board Risk Committee.
• Prepare Liquidity Risk Reports and Interest Risk Reports to Board Risk Committee.
• Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area
is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and
procedures.
• Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the department to ensure compliance with
the established standards and procedures.
• Respond to management complex requests that could not be handled at lower levels.
