IMS Core Planning Optimization and Service Design Manager job at Etisalat

Job Purpose

-Manage planning activities related to IMS Core capacity planning, dimensioning and expansions. -Manage VoLTE and VoWiFi services design and planning. -Manage Fixed Voice services design and dimensioning to achieve Etisalat strategic product portfolio. -Manage Voice solution design for CS and IMS and IGW domains to meet commercial demands. -Manage P&S and B2B solution support and design over voice core network to support Etisalat enterprise targets. -Manage optimization activities within voice core planning department.

Report To Position Name

-Manage the team to create/update LLD, HLD, and network diagrams for IMS Core network elements (CSCF, MTAS, ENUM, SBG, HSS, DNS, AAA, EMe and DRA). -Manage the team to Design, implement and accept IMS new customer solutions (VoWiFi, VoLTE, Fixed voice and UaaS) either with internal network elements or with third party vendors. -Leveraging the strong knowledge of technology trend for the selection of the most cost effective and best common practices for IMS core network required solutions. -Manage the coordination with Operations team, other planning and optimization teams for IMS core related activities, plans and service deployment and testing. -Manage the team to study and plan for new IMS features and its impact on customer experience -Manage the team to plan and integrate IMS core network with Etisalat different network elements (CS, PS, SCE, IN, IT systems …) -Manage the team to design and implement all different VAS and SCE services on IMS core domain -Manage to support technical B2B and commercials teams regarding the development of unified communication offers based on best solution and optimal prices either for standalone solutions or based on network internal capabilities. -Manage core-reporting team to generate post assessment reports related to VAS and SCE new services to ensure target service revenues with commercial team. -Managing big data analytics function in voice core planning team, which the data get analyzed from various sources and grouped in one database, resulting in new unified data that contribute in new decisions and improvements to network and to customer experience -Managing the team to study and plan for new Voice features and services besides identifying its impact on customer experience -Managing the support for technical B2B and commercials teams regarding the development of unified communication offers based on best solution and optimal price either for standalone solutions or based on network internal capabilities -Managing VAS solution and design from core network side to ensure optimal capacity, core impact analysis and solution customization benefit. -Manage the development of new IMS solutions and integration activities with IT systems in order to achieve Etisalat targets from new introduced services. Manage the day – to – day analysis and optimization activities for different voice services in order to improve overall voice performance and quality of service/customer satisfaction targets. Manage studies of operational and performance KPIs and identify opportunities to align optimization activities with commercial target revenues

QUALIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL

- BSc. in Electronics or Communication Engineering. -Ability to work under pressure -Good - Very Good - Excellent Computer skills, Advanced MS excel is required. -Good -Very Good - Excellent in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral).

QUALIFICATIONS_DESIRABLE

- Qualification in Computer Aided Design/Computer Sciences will be beneficial.

EXPERIENCE_ESSENTIAL

-Minimum 6 to 8 years of Experience. -Excellent knowledge of IP nodes and protocols -Excellent knowledge of other CS core nodes.

EXPERIENCE_DESIRABLE

- Diploma in GSM/WCDMA networks. - Specialized Training in GSM Applications
