• Monitor system performance and identify problems that arise.
• Ensure that the database is adequately backed up.
• Suggest changes and improvements for database maintenance or protection.
• Regularly liaising with IT project managers and database programmers.
• Provide operational support for company production application and database.
• Create and Manage system alerts and act accordingly to it in a timely manner.
• Perform day to day applications and databases checklists and operations.
• Monitor Production databases and application performance using information coming from a variety of sources.
• Manage and monitor web applications hosted on windows environment.
• Investigate web and desktop applications database related exceptions and errors.
• Apply ITIL change management procedures in deploy changes to production applications.
• Detect and investigate server side and network side errors if affects production applications.
• Manage and administer windows server environments related to applications.
• Manage and operate windows server roles and feature related to application hosting.
• Coordinates with other IT areas in the implementation of different projects.
• 5 + years of experience in MSSQL development and administrations.
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and database structure.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL database engine performance tuning.
• Good knowledge of data backup, recovery, high availability, security, and integrity.
• Good knowledge about windows server and its roles and features.
• Professional investigation skills and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of BI process and structure is a plus.
