About the job
Responsibilities
- This role will lead the media & digital agenda for Snacks & Beverages categories in MENA and is responsible for media planning, optimization, KPI setting, productivity & agency relations
- Full accountability and leadership on all Media related capabilities to ensure synergies and maintain holistic view on operations & performance (ex: 1P Data Collection & Integration, Media Analytics, Social Media Moderation, …etc.)
- Work closely with Global Design Leads, AMESA Sector Leads to develop strategic expansion & in-housing plan in order to deliver operational excellence while driving efficiencies (Lead the design and roll out of Social Moderation in PepsiCo)
- Lead the MENA relationships with key digital media partners (Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc.) and leverage the relationship to take forward the digital marketing transformation agenda in the market
- Manage relationship with internal senior stakeholders and ensure keeping them informed about key Media topics (MMM, Optimizations, Budgets …etc.)
- Ensure adoption and application of all global Martech solutions and planning framework and best practices (ex: MOAT, TCP, Datorama, …etc.)
- Partner with media agencies to deliver media productivity through more efficient strategies, better negotiations as well as inflation mitigation.
- Work with media auditors in the market to ensure media governance and to enhance the efficiency of media spend
- Lead work with agency partners in ensuring the delivery of digital media KPIs across metrics on reach, frequency, cost, viewability, engagement, etc.
- Build a strong Media team that will unlock future in-housing opportunities
- Manage agency review/evaluation, Media audit and Media pitches
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in Media, preferably covering both agencies and marketers
- Strong, hands-on experience with digital and social media management for brands including social listening tools, capabilities and reporting
- Capability to develop annual operating plans on digital for a portfolio of brands and partner with agencies to oversee execution
- Experience with the digital programmatic media ecosystem – technologies, partners, metrics
- Deep understanding of the media & digital landscape and ecosystem in the MENA markets
- Multi-media planning, optimization and execution experience, including digital
- Bachelor’s Degree in any disciple.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English language
