Job Description
LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
“Logistics Specialist” is required for a reputable supply chain tire trading company located in Sheraton.
Job description:
• Managing transportation and distribution networks to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure that products are available when needed.
•Manage logistics-related paperwork and documentation, including shipping and receiving documents.
• Identify and resolve logistics-related problems and issues.
•Analyse logistics-related data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
•Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers) according to availability and requirements
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
Job requirements:
• BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field
• 2-3 years’ experience as logistics specialist
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
•Knowledge of logistics-related policies and procedures
•Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
