What we need from You

• • • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.

    • A minimum of 15 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas industry at a senior technical level covering the responsibility of Technical and Project Execution.

    • Experience of working in a non-Shell operated Joint Venture.

    • Experience in Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning as well as Operations Interfaces as a foundation for grasping all interface aspects across different phases of the project.

    • Demonstrated leadership experience and previous track record of successfully supervising teams.

    • Previous experience of working for Shell is strongly preferred.

    • The Interface Manager must have demonstrable experience of working in diverse environments and cultures.  The position will be responsible for the development and coaching of local talent.  Some Middle East experience is beneficial but diverse cultural experience is preferred.

    • This position offers the opportunity to develop leadership qualities in a sensitive multi-cultural environment. It allows broadening of skills and involvement in managing projects interfaces with sub-surface and operations departments as well as external contractors.

    • Must be computer literate and proficient in MS office applications (word, power point, excel, …etc)

    • Fluency in Arabic will be a distinct advantage.

    What’s the role?

    The Interface Manager position offers a wide range of technical and managerial challenges covering brownfield and greenfield work in Onshore and Offshore Projects.

    The portfolio of projects is broad, and the Interface Manager must be competent in managing a diverse range of Greenfield and Brownfield Projects Interfaces across offshore and onshore assets.   

    The Interface Manager has direct reports that include the Interface Engineer(s). He / She will also have external reports include the Interface Managers/Engineers within the various contractors and vendor organizations involved in Burullus Projects.
