announces its need for: procurement Engineer ( experience in the field of Construction only )

job description

- Assist the Procurement Manager in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes and achieve cost savings.

- Support the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and maintain a supplier database.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement processes, and recommend adjustments to sourcing strategies as needed.

- Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Relevant certifications or a master's degree is a plus.

Proven 3-5years of experience in ( Construction only )procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.

Solid understanding of procurement principles, best practices, and procedures.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Proficiency in using procurement software and systems for data analysis and reporting.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive supplier relationships.
