We are recruit for our client prestigious real estate developer located in New Cairo -Egypt
 
Position: Chief Accountant
Department : Finance Department

Main responsibilities:
1. Project Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
•Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
2. Cost Management:
•Monitor and control project costs, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
•Conduct regular cost reviews and collaborate with project teams to optimize expenditure.
3. Financial Reporting:
•Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports for senior management, highlighting project financial performance.
•Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
•Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to align financial objectives with project goals.
•Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to address financial inquiries and provide insights.
5. Audit and Compliance:
•Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate project audits.
•Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:
- Field and years of experience:
• 7 to 8 years of Proven experience as a Construction Accountant in the real estate development industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, cost management, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus
