PwC seeks public finance specialists to support the Egyptian government in developing fiscal and budgetary reforms based on international standards and best practices. Our team will focus on improving cash management, budgeting, and expenditure control at a number of ministries, particularly the Ministry of Finance, and on promoting greater efficiency, transparency, and accountability. Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with project team members and government representatives in implementing project activitiesProvide technical advice, coaching and training on government fiscal risk management Support government in analysis of fiscal risk in areas impacted by changes in global prices, losses of public enterprises, contingent liabilities of PPP projects Support development of government risk mitigation strategies and integrate risk management into budget formulationContribute to development performance monitoring, evaluation and linkages to strategic planSupport enhanced inter-government and donor coordination in risk managementContribute to public communication
Requirements
Minimum Master Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics or related fieldMinimum 8 years of leadership experience working in area of public financial management, especially public investment areas or related field Experience working with senior government, USAID, donor officials and other key stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to build local team and conduct institutional capacity buildingStrong communication and change management skillsDemonstrated experience to work with local stakeholdersDemonstrated experience managing project in compliant manner to achieve resultsStrong English language skills
