Responsibilities:
Responsible for collating, sorting and processing all invoices received into the Accounts Payable Team Support the matching of invoices to LPOs / accruals and following up on any consultation with procurement / purchaser Escalate any issues or discrepancies to AP LeadSupport the on-time and accurate payment of vendors Support coordination with finance team members for monthly closing of accounts and finalizing monthly accountsRespond to ad-hoc requests in a timely mannerPrepare standardised reports or summaries, and other documentation required for the function and as directed by the Accounts Payable LeadFile invoices and cash receipts Prepare reports for adjustment, booking and charging integrity, billing and payment information
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field requiredFluency in written and spoken English, proficiency in Arabic is an advantage 3+ years of accounting experienceExperience in the Professional Services industry in a top tier Big 4 firm is an advantageUnderstanding of general/international accounting standards and practicesHigh level of analytical and quantitative ability required to perform complex financial structuring and accounting and ad hoc reporting functions, including proficiency with computer based modeling and analytic techniquesStrong verbal and written communication skillsOrganization, thoroughness, eye for detail, time management skills and proactivity neededEthical Conduct
