Design Engineer for Ready Pack Tech

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer at RPT. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to design engineering, machine design, mechanical engineering, and product design. The role will involve utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop and modify mechanical designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance, and conducting design analysis and feasibility studies.

Qualifications

Experience in design engineering, machine design, mechanical engineering, and product design
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
Proficiency in solid works (sheet metal, molding, sketching, shop drawings)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience in conducting design analysis and feasibility studies
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience in the packaging or industrial automation industry is a plus
