Assistant Manager, Optimization & Process Engineering

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor degree of Chemical / Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university.
Post-graduate degree in Chemical Engineering is preferable.

Years of Experience:

From 8 to 10 years of experience.

Main Accountabilities:

Provide technical support for front-line operations.
Provide technical support for process engineering and process safety. 
Lead and provide technical support for the reliability improvement initiatives related to process engineering and root cause analysis.
Identify, support and lead execution of process improvement opportunities. Perform process engineering studies and provide process change proposals.
Provide technical support and ensure safe operation of process units and equipment.
Lead and provide technical support for a variety of complex process engineering computations, HYSYS simulation (steady & dynamic) modelling, and preparation of P&ID’s, PFD’s, heat and material balances, in addition to equipment data sheets.
Review & verify the JV’s and Contractor’s designs, specifications, procedures and operations for consistency and compliance with Company and Industry Standards, Process Engineering operations requirements and relevant Codes.
Control & track updates to the process design documents.
Provide technical support in Alarm management system and alarm rationalization.
Lead and participate in HAZID, HAZOP and other PHA studies.
