Job description
- Manage and oversee the entire accounting team.
- Conduct necessary training to keep the team's skills
and knowledge up to date.
- Ensure proper tax interviews with clients and collect necessary documents.
- Review corporate and personal income tax returns to ensure accuracy.
- Advise business owners and individuals regarding the tax code.
- Oversee the processing of state and federal payroll taxes.
- Nurture and build client relationships.
- Monitor and mentor/train junior staff, clerks, and bookkeepers.
- Address potential compliance issues proactively.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Implement tax consults and onboarding procedures for new clients.
Requirements
- Must have experience in trading or construction field
- Odoo knowledge preferred
- +5 years experience as a Chief Accountant
