ESMC Egyptian Smart Meters Company is Design/Development and Manufacturing of Metering Products like Energy and water Flow Measuring Products.
Job Summary
The Production Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our factory operations, coordinating all aspects of production, from planning and scheduling to execution and quality control. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role, demonstrating a capacity to lead teams, optimize processes, and contribute to the strategic goals of the company.
· Key Responsibilities
· Hire, test and train new production staff (Production workers).
· Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
· Develop and implement production schedules, resource allocation plans, and performance metrics to achieve operational objectives.
· Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production staff, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
· Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed in response to operational challenges or opportunities.
· Collaborate with other departments (e.g., R&D, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance) to ensure seamless integration of production activities with wider company objectives.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
· Manage budget and cost controls, striving for cost-effectiveness and operational excellence.
· Analyze production data and reports to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement improvements.
Job Requirements
· Qualifications
· Fluent in Egyptian Arabic & English
· B.Sc. in engineering, Industrial Management, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
· Minimum of 6 years of experience in a production management role within a factory setting, with a proven track record of successful team leadership and process improvement.
· Strong understanding of production workflows, equipment, and supply chain management.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
· Familiarity with industry-standard software and production management tools.
· Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement principles.
