About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive the success of multiple projects from our Head Office. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and senior management to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. This role is central to our operations, coordinating resources, setting project milestones, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Control: Monitor and manage the project budget to prevent overruns, report financial performance, and suggest cost-saving measures.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular visits to ensure projects meet quality, timeline, and safety standards, addressing any issues on-site.
- Project Scheduling: Set project timelines, adjust schedules as needed, and keep stakeholders informed of any changes.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, including budget and on-site challenges.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for project updates, reporting progress to leadership, and addressing any project-related issues.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records and reports on budgets, site visits, and project progress.
- Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal team performance and project completion within budget.
- Budgeting & Scheduling:Develop and monitor project budgets and schedules to meet deliverables within scope.
- Quality Control: Oversee project quality to meet company standards and client expectations.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to address budget issues, scheduling conflicts, or site-related challenges promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.
(PMP certification preferred).
- 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within a construction field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
