Position: Process Engineer
Contract duration: Full time
Field: Oils & Gas
Location: Alexandria – Idku site.
Working Hours: 8 Hours per day
Days off: 2 days off

Education:
· Desired bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering).
· Certified ISO Vibration CAT III.
· Certified MLA II.
· Certified thermography level 1 "preferred".
Experience and Job requirements:
Minimum overall experience of 8-10 years of which 4-6 years of experience in Oil & Gas industries as condition monitoring engineer.
Responsibilities: Key duties and responsibilities
· First level/routine inspection and specific inspection of all plant equipment in all conditions (Stoppage, Running).
· Regular monitoring of equipment’s condition and running parameter including different types of rotating equipment like gas turbine, reciprocating & centrifugal compressors, pumps and rotary air compressors.
· Tight coordination with production to get feedback on equipment conditions and to build on these feedbacks for better equipment health and reliability.
· Tight coordination with maintenance execution (to get feedback from maintenance tradesmen on equipment status and planning/scheduling).
· Updating the completed tasks pertaining to inspections and re-check equipment conditions after repair to provide feedback if further Improvement is required.
· Analyze record, troubleshoot equipment problems and proffer procedure recommendations to execution team.
· RCA preparation for critical equipment breakdowns.
· Diagnose root cause and specify method of repair for plant equipment.
· Prevent failure of equipment using all possible information and data available through different condition monitoring techniques.
· Identify short, medium and long-term action plans as a key input to maintenance strategies for equipment.
· Contribute to the best level of performance of plants equipment. Measure and monitor equipment conditions, analyze trends, and identify the needs for mechanical maintenance, taking into account production constraints.
· Provide necessary alignment, balancing support during emergency and scheduled outages of the plant.
