Position: Senior Electrical Hardware Design Engineer

Responsibilities

- Conduct research and analysis for the electrical and software systems development of medical devices in compliance with IEC and ISO standards, ensuring final products meet international benchmarks.

- Develop electrical subsystem design requirements, guidelines, and rework instructions.

- Utilize principles of electrical power, electronics, and electromagnetics to design effective systems for Programmable Electrical Medical Devices.

- Assess the safety, reliability, and performance of integrated system designs, achieving the necessary safety and performance parameters.

- Implement and review designs, simulations, and models for components and PCBs.

- Ensure compliance of electrical system design deliverables with ISO requirements and design guidelines.

- Collaborate with R&D teams to conceptualize and develop system prototypes based on agreed designs.

- Test hardware systems for safety, reliability, and performance to prepare for software deployment and testing.

- Continuously enhance electrical system designs to improve operational parameters and resolve system defects.

- Generate comprehensive technical reports to document design modifications, issues, and assembly notes for management review and decision-making.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.

- Relevant experience in medical devices, automotive electronics, and multilayer PCB design is essential.

Knowledge and Skills

- Strong expertise in power electronics and motor control driver design.

- In-depth knowledge of analog circuits and filter design principles.

- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the medical device industry.

Abilities

High command of electronics (PCB) & circuits design software (Altium Designer).

High command of electronics (PCB) & circuits simulation software (Multisim, Saturn, LT Spice & Proteus).

High command of AutoCAD electrical.

High command of C programming.

Proven expertise in electronic systems (PCB) design, and microcontroller systems.

High Command of embedded systems instrumentation & communication such as CAN, I2C, SPI & UART.
