Industrial Software Engineer for ManEx Systems

Our Company develops world-class mechatronic systems for various industries, including Pharmacetuicals, FMCG, Home Appliances and food &beverage. We are seeking a talented engineer to join our team who will develop/support control systems and customize systems for our great customer base. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to develop concepts, prototypes, control systems, and software for complex manufacturing applications. This role is an excellent opportunity to work at the forefront of industry 4.0 applications in the manufacturing industry and offers exciting opportunities to work with technologies such as Deep Learning AI, Machine Learning and Robotics, Vast Hardware Integration, and industrial communications protocols. There will also be an element of customer-facing in this role, and it is a great opportunity to widen engineering skill-sets.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in project teams to develop clear specifications, evaluate the feasibility of concepts, and provide formal estimates for control systems and vision system designs.
• Integrate PC Software with PLCs, Smart Camera, Servo Motors, Loadcells.
• Troubleshoot systems remotely or onsite for customers.
• Create supporting design documentation.
• Communicate project status to the project lead.
• Collect and analyze inspection results to prove the robustness of the system.
• Work closely with customers to deliver their best customer experience.
• Assist in project feasibility and the sales process.
• Assist in generating and executing software test protocols and provide feedback to developers on improvements and bug fixes.
• Determine Project schedules and work with the team and other stakeholders to ensure adherence.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 0-3 years of Software Development, and design experience required.
• Strong experience in Coding and Software Development is mandatory.
• Experience with LabView is a plus o Core 1 & 2 or equivalent. o Applying OOP in any programming language is a Plus. o Including basic and advanced architectures, the use of queues, state machine design, event structures, andevent handling.o Able to define, design, develop, test, debug, and maintain LabVIEW code for machine control software.
• Experience with PLCs is mandatory.

o Allen Bradley Software studio 5000 or Siemens software TIA

o Able to apply different control methods over different motor types, sensors, and meters

o Able to control servo,AC Motor and stepper motors is a plus

o Implementation of industrial communication protocols between PLC and other devices via Ethernet, MODBUS.

• C#, Python, Flutter, or dart is a plus
• SQL database management tools – MSSQL studio or MySQL. is a plus
