Senior Electrical Design Engineer for Constructive

Job Responsibilities:

• Implements specific Electrical engineering works by the work program of a project or as requested within his department.
• Organizes and supervises the work of engineers and draftsmen allocated to him and provides relevant support and/or advice to project teams as applicable.
• Responsible for efficient and effective design of electrical engineering works, preparation of drawings, contract documents, etc.
• Verifies that all designs, drawings, and documents are up to current codes and standards and are under company policies and manuals.
• Liaises as directed with consulting engineers, and/or contractors on all matters necessary for the implementation of the work program of the project.
• Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Electrical Department Manager or his responsible Principal Electrical Engineer, as applicable.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers and related software, including CAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of Electrical design standards and codes.
• Microsoft Office Knowledge of procedure and terminology for designing; writing specifications and performing construction support, design review, and project management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with persons at all levels.
• Strong analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, and team-player skills.
• Ability to transfer knowledge to others in the design and preparation of drawings, specifications, and estimates to use in the course of design.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and directives.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to motivate staff through proper direction and counseling.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization.
