Senior Architectural Site Engineer for MADKOUR

Job Description:

• Produce designs for buildings and other building projects in accordance with a brief or specification.
• Prepare detailed drawings, design specifications, and submit them for approval by relevant planning authorities.
• Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
• Set out, level and survey the site.
• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
• Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems if they arise.
• Control project plans by reviewing designs, specifications and planning and scheduling changes and recommending actions.
• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Check the quality of all materials received on site and prepare quality reports about any defects.
• Ensure the compliance of work done with the specified requirements and standards of the specifications.
• Provide overall supervision and coordination of General Foreman areas of responsibilities and the allocation of work areas.
• Follow-up to ensure execution of work is carried out in accordance with approved method statements.
• Follow-up with General Foreman on the efficient usage of materials to minimize wastage, and supervise materials storage area.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors on their daily construction activities and their obligations and liaison with subcontractors.
• Oversee all finishing activities such as block work, plastering, false ceiling, gypsum walls, painting, tiling, marble works, parquet flooring and landscaping.
• Monitor the finishing of buildings and service facilities on site.

Job Requirements

• Familiar with building code and zoning
• BA/BS degree in Architecture.
• Minimum experience 5-10years.
• Proficiency shop drawings
