Design manager for Hometown Developments

Hometown Developments is currently hiring a design manager!

#Job_Role:

Work across various departments to research, create, design and manage the construction plans. 

#Job_Responsibilities:

· Design, analyze, and alter plans, or structures.
Develop solutions to existing design problems.
· Ensure building plans, prototypes, and structures are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
· Identify and solve problems in building plans, prototypes, and structures.
Correct and update design documents. 
· Test and evaluate building systems to find problems and improvements.
· Attend job and construction meetings, participate in the coordination of the work, provide updates on the progress.
· Assist team members with project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
Use 3D MAX and/or Revit to develop sketches, drawings and construction documents.
· Review drawings and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards.
· Ability to work as a team member and capable of interpreting the requested design.
· Ensure acceptable levels of quality and checks for coordination of work to assure documents reflect design intent and necessary coordination.
· Coordinates architectural design work with related engineering disciplines.
· Participate in site visits.
· Manage the design package starting from the Concept / schematic Design validation.
· Manage and review the Detailed Design Package.
· Manage and review the Issue for Tendering Package and the Tender process including (Technical clarifications, technical evaluation and Value Engineering).
· Manage the IFC package with site team.
· Assure that the progression of the technical packages is committing to the initial design areas, specs and criteria.

Job_Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in architecture engineering
- Experience: 10+ years in Real Estate Industry
