Sales Specialist, Cairo, Egypt

As a Sales Specialist, you will be a part of the Power Grid Division, Business Unit Transformer based in Cairo, Egypt. You will be responsible for selling the products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Building long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identifying and developing sales opportunities. ABB’s Power Grids division is the world’s leading supplier of power and automation products, systems and service solutions across the power value chain of generation, transmission and distribution enabling a stronger, smarter and greener grid

Tasks

Your main responsibilities in this role will include: Volume and profit: Selling the products/systems/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups. Customer relations: Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding and providing a solution. Sales plans: Preparing sales plan, performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls Sales: Creating added value for the customer and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals using effective sales techniques and communicating details in accordance with ABB offerings and strategy. Marketing: Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers. New market opportunities: Identifying and developing new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. Administration: Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting collection and project management activities. Offer preparation: Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.

Requirements

As the ideal candidate, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 0-2 years of experience. Proficiency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.
