As a Sales Support Manager, you will perform direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales growth in accordance with agreed business plans. Adapt and implement sales support strategy for allocated markets in accordance with the global support strategy. Ensure technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. Oversee estimations and bids and proposals ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets. Proactively lead, develop and coach the Sales Support team.Your main responsibilities in this role will include: Creating, implementing and reviewing local sales support strategy.Preparing, reviewing and approval of Technical and Commercial proposals and costing calculations. Ensuring all proposals follow relevant ABB procedures and guide lines as well as legal requirements.Identifying market segments & channels and setting targets for each market segment.Establishing strong customer relations and network, listen to customer needs and act accordingly.Ensuring full adherence to company's directives, guidelines, process and data base.Managing, supporting and developing the capabilities of subordinates.Conducting risk assessments/risk reviews, setting and implementing corresponding mitigation plans.Market and business intelligence and Market Mapping.Fulfill yearly budget and update rolling forecast.Identify potential opportunities, white spots and set development/sales plan.Initiating and enhancing sales strategies embracing value base selling techniques.Proposing opportunity pursuit set-ups and selling strategy.Enhancing team efficiency and ensuring commitment to leveraging profit margins.Coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Driving and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.Leading virtual local and global teams during Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and tendering phases.Supporting SCM to ensure receiving the required support and competitive prices.Leading the evaluation of local & foreign sub supplier's offers (technically & commercially).Leading the preparations of contracts covering legal, technical and commercial aspects.Supporting the customer during FEED and project development phase.Presenting of offers and ABB portfolio to customers.Contracts negotiations.As the ideal candidate, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 7-12 years of experience in a multinational organization, with knowledge in substation business, service, sales, costing and tendering. You should have technical knowledge of HV substations. Knowledge of contracts, legal and commercial terms & conditions.
