Special Skills for the Job:

· Minimum 10 years working experience in various settlement & payment activities

· Minimum 8 years experience leading high impact distributed teams and projects

· Oversee, recommend and implement all processes related to all types of settlement (cards, wallets, ATM)

· Technical awareness in dealing with our processing company

· Process improvement to the unit legacy tasks to achieve the highest accuracy & control

Job Duties:

· Manage and supervise the payments & settlement to ensure effective operating model – debit cards, credit cards, wallets, ATMs

· Ensure that all transaction processing are in compliance with regulatory and bank policies

· Ensure that all operational risk are effectively managed and well addressed

· Develop, improve and maintain policies and procedures for the settlement unit

· Close monitoring to the unit GLs and ensure proper handling of exceptions

· Managing projects with all the bank stakeholders till launching along with the required level of controls

· Follow up and control over charges and expenses paid and income received from various networks

· Insure and follow up on the implementation of changes required by Visa, Master Card, EBC and payment agencies to avoid penalties applied by them.

· Set tasks, goals and objectives for department staff and setting plans to achieve department objectives and corrective actions if needed in addition to department staff evaluation.

· Ensure staff awareness and adherence to bank’s code of conduct, internal related policies and procedures, CBE regulations, roles and procedures set by Visa, Master Card and EBC 123.
