RAN Field Optimization Engineer

Role purpose:  

Analyse Drive Test Log files (Voice + Data) on all technologies and recommend improvement actions, 

May need to coordinate Drive test teams 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:  

Coordinate and assign the tasks to the Drive test teams. 

Follow up the execution of the requested task (Drive test or action) and ensure that it will be done within an optimum Time plan and with the required quality. 

Receiving the Log files from the DT teams and prepare a report 

Identify the quality, Level and Throughput problems and recommend 1st level solution (ex: replacing HW, Adding missing neighbors, proposing a re-design action …) and coordinate with the Optimization Area Owner to add the adequate more advanced recommendations, 

The Post Processing profiles should have proven experience in both 2G & 3G & 4G 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience: 

Education: BSC in Electrical Engineering majoring in   Communication and Electronic Engineering 

Work Experience: 1:3 Years’ Experience in log files post processing, Drive test experience is an advantage. 

PC Knowledge: MS Office Package, Internet Package, Actix , TEMS and the Huawei & Ericsson Citrix are an advantage. 

Special requirements: very good communication skills, Good presentation skills . 

Must have technical / professional qualifications:  

Technical skills: Full aware of the different Radio Technologies (2G, 3G & 4G-LTE)
