Summary 

We are looking to hire Data Engineer Lead to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for build, lead and manage a team of data engineers working on building scalable data and analytics solutions, to provide an accurate and instant understanding of our business by using the latest technologies and the best practices in data engineering field.

Responsibilities 

• Partner with various teams to define, transform process and make data actionable for operational and analytic initiatives that create sustainable scalable implementations.
• Design & build data pipeline that generates efficient insight data from multiple sources to create reports & dashboards to meet key business objectives & provide end-to-end data solutions with different tools such as AWS.
• Execute unit tests and validate scripts & database design to ensure accuracy of data, clear documentation and problem resolution to ensure high quality of data safeguard.
• Develop modern data architecture approaches to meet key business objectives and provide end-to-end data solutions.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on future technologies and new releases/upgrades to ensure that our data infrastructure is reliable and efficient.
• Supervise data engineering team to provide robust data/analytics platforms to the entire organization.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a relevant positionBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer software, information technology, or any relevant discipline
• Familiarity with AWS (AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS S3, AWS kinesis and Data Lake) is a necessity
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining
• Experience with reporting tools like Tableau, AWS Quick Sight, Looker, and Power BI is a necessity
• Good knowledge of programming languages.
