Summary

We are looking to hire a Software Technical Writer to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for creating and updating different business and technical documentation and user guides to ensure that the information included is comprehensible and up to date.

Responsibilities

• Determine the needs of the users to create business and technical documentation and user guides
• Examine product samples in collaboration with product designers and developers
• Properly understand the developed tools and solutions to be able to explain them clearly
• Collaborate with the Technical Team to make products more understandable and easier to use
• Organize and write product support documents in a clear, simple, and concise manner
• Improve user comprehension by using photographs, drawings, diagrams, animations, and charts
• Upload the final written material output to the system to be accessible for all concerned teams

Qualifications & Work Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any relevant field (a postgraduate degree is an asset)
• A background in software engineering is a must
• Very good computer skills 
• Experience in developing English and Arabic content is a plus
• Outstanding command of the English and Arabic languages with excellent knowledge of their structures, vocabulary, grammar, and rules of composition
