Tax Manager

1. Job Summary



The Tax Manager is responsible for the Company’s tax compliance, tax planning, accounting for income taxes and preparation of tax returns. Expected to be aware of emerging tax laws as well as optimum tax planning and saving provisions. The role is to comply with and be up-to-date on all necessary tax legislations, and exert all efforts to make savings that minimize tax bills for business and company employees where possible.



2. Duties and responsibilities



Deliver timely, accurate and reliable data to CFO and Corporate tax function in Denmark. Timely calculate due taxes and deferred taxes. Report taxes under two different presentation methods (PoC & Regular accrual method). Prepare annual reconciliation between the two presentations and ensure official records of such a reconciliation that is approved by the auditors at year end and before submitting the tax return. Enable accurate and timely forecasting of taxes, and timely tax reporting close. Compile and present quarterly and annual tax reporting Documentation and quantification of uncertain tax positions Recommendation and review of tax provisions Advising on tax planning & taking initiatives for tax savings. Implementation of tax inspection arrangements Liaising with third party professionals including auditors, tax advisers, independent financial advisers, and tax authority inspectors in relation to all tax matters. Attend and be responsible for successful tax inspections and proper analysis and presentation of all necessary analyses and details. Handle all tax authorities correspondences, filings, objections, and transactions while respecting due dates and related forms. Compile all required government documents concerning taxes, offer solutions to pressing tax problems, and are the point of contact for dealing with Tax Authorities and advisors. Prepare proper filing for each type of taxes and ensure proper analyses of all taxes
