Senior Accountant for Debbas Egypt

Debbas Egypt is thrilled to announce an exciting job
opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our dedicated
team. ~
Location: Roxy, Cairo
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and assist in
financial reporting to Management.
• Contribute in Monthly close entries.
• Assist in preparation of monthly and annual financial
statements.
• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.:
AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
• Issuing sales invoices for customers after checking the
POs and project situation.
• Submit the Electronic invoices on the ETA Portal.
• Prepare suppliers' payments (EGP, USD and EUR) either
were cheques or transfers with invoices, payment
vouchers & swift forms.
• Prepare bank position on a daily basis.
• Prepare form 4 and trade transfers.
• Follow up with the bank any issues like forms 4 or
issuing cheques books or pending transfers.
• Handel petty cash daily & take necessary approvals &
required documents.
• Prepare monthly VAT reports with the auditor and
submit them and proceed with the payment process.
• Prepare quarterly WHT report with auditor and submit it
and proceed with the payment process.
• Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing
requirements, tax filing requirements, audits, procedures
and forms both statutory and internal.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external
auditors, tax agents, local tax and government
authorities where required.
• Responsible for all archiving and documentation cycle
for the Finance department.
• Task oriented, attention to details, problem solver skills.
Requirements:
3 years of experience at least in accounting or finance
with strong background.
Proficiency in Accounting standards, ERP systems and
communication.
