Job Description
PwC seeks public finance specialists to contribute to an anticipated in USAID Macroeconomic Technical Assistance Project in Egypt. The project aims to support the Egyptian government in developing fiscal and budgetary reforms based on international standards and best practices. It will focus on improving cash management, budgeting, and expenditure control at a number of ministries, particularly the Ministry of Finance, and on promoting greater efficiency, transparency, and accountability. Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with project team members and government representatives in implementing project activitiesProvide technical advice, coaching and training on government revenue forecasting of sectoral and macro-economic levels, assessment of economic impact of tax policies on sectors Support government in development of budget preparation to set budget ceilingsSupport development of government budget forecasting capabilities for each major source of revenueContribute to development performance monitoring, evaluation and linkages to strategic planSupport enhanced inter-government coordinationContribute to public communication
Requirements
Minimum Master Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics or related fieldMinimum 8 years of leadership experience working in area of public financial management, especially public investment areas or related field Experience working with senior government, USAID, donor officials and other key stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to build local team and conduct institutional capacity buildingStrong communication and change management skillsDemonstrated experience to work with local stakeholdersDemonstrated experience managing project in compliant manner to achieve results Industry Deals
