Job Description
This is a senior project management position, managing a team of professionals. The project aims to support the Egyptian government in developing fiscal and budgetary reforms based on international standards and best practices. It will focus on improving cash management, budgeting, and expenditure control at a number of ministries, particularly the Ministry of Finance, and on promoting greater efficiency, transparency, and accountability. Responsibilities:
Lead team of local and international public financial management specialistsCoordinate project activities with government officials, USAID, other donors and stakeholdersContribute to technical assistance, training and coaching of government officials in tax policy, public investment planning, improved cash management, risk management and efficiency of the budget process.Support activities related to systems implementation, institutional development as well as monitoring and evaluationContribute to public communication on importance of fiscal reform and compliance
Requirements
Minimum Master Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance or related fieldMinimum 8 years of leadership experience working in area of public financial management or related field Experience working with senior government, USAID, donor officials and other key stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to build local team and conduct institutional capacity buildingStrong communication and change management skillsDemonstrated experience to work with local stakeholdersDemonstrated experience managing project in compliant manner to achieve resultsStrong English language skills Industry Deals
