Junior Accountant for M Logistics

a Junior Accountant at M Logistics Freight Forwarder located in Sheraton.
Qualifications
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks or OODO is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
• Experience in the shipping or logistics industry is a plus
Duties and Responsibilities
• Overseeing daily transactions (e.g. accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations)
• Participating in tax audits and payroll
• Issue invoices and receive customer payments
• Preparing budget reports with Finance Manager
• Support month-end and year-end closing
• Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
• Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
• Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
