Production Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth production operations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating new technologies and methodologies into production processes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Engineer in a sheet metal manufacturing or home appliance production environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, including assembly, machining, and fabrication techniques.
- Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Solid understanding of quality management systems and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production-related issues.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with electrical safety standards and regulations is a plus.
