Sr. Mechanical Technical Engineer for Water Flow

Water Flow is a leading provider of water solutions and Contracting Co. now is hiring in Egypt Office.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Mechanical Technical Engineer with a strong background in hydraulic calculations, pipe and pump sizing, pressure loss assessments, and the design of water supply and drainage systems. The ideal candidate will also have specialized experience in designing water features, swimming pools, and water treatment systems (RO and STP). The role requires the ability to prepare comprehensive technical submittals and perform detailed calculations for various hydraulic systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective design and execution of hydraulic projects, contributing to the overall success of our engineering team.

Responsibilities:
• Designing and analyzing: Water supply, drainage, fire protection, and HVAC systems.
• Performing: Hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and pump selection.
• Preparing: Technical submittals, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinating: With architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring: Designs comply with codes and regulations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in hydraulic design, pipe sizing, and pump selection.
• Proven experience in the design of water features, swimming pools, and water treatment systems.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, Pipe Flow Expert, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of building codes and plumbing standards (e.g., IPC, UPC).
• Experience preparing technical submittals and detailed calculations for hydraulic systems.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) for design and drafting.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional_Skills (Preferred):
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices, including water conservation and energy-efficient systems.
• Experience in 3D modeling software for complex designs.
• Certification in hydraulic or plumbing systems design (e.g., Certified Plumbing Design Technician - CPDT).
Experience in water features, swimming pools, and water treatment systems is a plus.
