Company Description

MINRAF is the leading manufacturer of automotive springs in Egypt since 1939.

Due to huge expansions in process, we are looking for a qualified senior quality control engineer with proven experience in quality / production management related technicalities.

Role Description

Minimize cost (e.g., pricing) and maximize value (e.g., meet service expectations) in the purchasing process via any number of tactics (e.g., strategic sourcing, negotiations, should-cost modelling, reverse auction).
Implement purchasing best practices for all services and categories.
Develop, implement and drive the purchasing strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.
Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in engineering with overall cumulative grade of Good at least (cumulative grade, not graduation project grade).
3-5 years in purchases (preferably for manufacturing companies) or a closely related field
Prior experience with vendor management
Demonstrated ability in negotiation
Previous involvement in cost-reduction initiatives
