Site Civil Engineer for Magrabi Health

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs a day-to-day on-site follow-up of the project’s engineering activities to accelerate the project’s life cycle in coordination with consultants, contractors and Magrabi staff.
• Monitors actual projects performance against planned time schedule to assure the delivery of the project within time as per approved budget and in compliance with Magrabi Quality Standard.
• Assists the department head in leading the projects throughout the project life cycle from initiation till closing.
• Participates in issuance/applying/development of department policies and procedures.
• Reviews claims/payment; reviews change orders; manages the interpretation of contract documents, drawing submitting/approvals and contract compliance.
• Oversees all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Plans to prevent problems and resolves any emerging ones.
• Analyzes, manages, and mitigates risks.
• Ensures quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Civil OR Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years, with at least 3 years healthcare experience.
• PMP certificate.
• Proficiency with engineering applications such as AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
