About the Role
- The primary purpose of the Production Shift Leader is to ensure the efficient and effective execution of Premix production processes during assigned shifts & Maximize power consumption saving.
- Supervise and manage the production operation lines to ensure the achievement of production plans to the required quality, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with different departments for any product or machine failure.
Prepare a safe work environment for the employees from a safety point of view.
Responsibilities:
- Issuing raw material needed per shift by using SAP, follow-up & record the raw material used in the production Process in terms of quality & quantity required to achieve the required production target per shift.
- Monitor the implementation of safe systems to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
- Supervise and manage the production operation lines green stage and finishing section to ensure the achievement of production plans.
- Supervise and manage the production operators, and engineers… in addition to ensuring the implementation of the set policies and procedures.
- Follow-up and record of raw materials used in the production process in terms of quality and quantity required to achieve the required production target per shift.
- Writing the shift report in detail including all electrical, mechanical or production breakdowns and stops, causes of them and the corrective actions that have been taken.
- Develop and carry out frequent job training & coaching activities for the production staff.
- The delivery and receipt of the shift to another and clarify all the actions that happened during the shift.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry Engineering Or Bachelor of science in chemistry.
- Minimum of 4 years in Heavy industries like ( Gypsum Board, Paper, Glass, Steel or Kilns ).
- Previous Experience with operating systems (SCADA, PLC, ….).
- Chemical & mechanical Background.
- QMS, Lean, and Six Sigma/TPM programs are preferred.
