The selected candidate will be hired through International Business Services and will be assigned to International Business Services client.
Position: Senior static equipment Engineer
Contract duration: Full time
Field: Oils & Gas
Location: Cairo Head office – New Cairo.
Working Hours: 8 Hours per day
Days off: 2 days off

Job Purpose:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 14 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in operational engineering support, with a strong background in mechanical integrity, piping systems, and pressure equipment.
Experience and Job requirements:
· Minimum 14 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in oil & gas operations.
· Strong knowledge of international engineering codes and standards related to pressure vessels, piping, and valves.
· Proficiency in CAESAR II for piping stress analysis.
· Demonstrated experience in mechanical integrity, reliability assessments, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
· Pressure Vessel Design & Fitness-for-Service – Conduct assessments in compliance with ASME VIII Div.1, API 650, and API 579 standards.
· Flange Management & Joint Integrity – Perform mechanical calculations and ensure compliance with ASME VIII, PCC-1, and WRC 538.
· Piping Stress Analysis – Perform static simulations using CAESAR II software to evaluate system integrity.
· Valve Engineering – Oversee valve selection, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure operational reliability.
· Operational Engineering Support – Provide technical guidance on Management of Change (MoC), maintenance strategies, and engineering queries.
· Incident Investigation – Lead root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
· Plant Modifications & Design – Support small-to-medium scale modifications to enhance plant operations.
· Engineering Review & Execution – Review contractor deliverables and provide on-site engineering support during execution.
